Domaine Daniel Crochet Sancerre Rose 2022

Size: 0
$24.99

This domaine is in its fourth generation; Daniel Crochet took over the family business in 1996 after studying viticulture and oenology at the Lycée Wine Avize in the Marne.

The plots are located in the towns of Sancerre and Bué, all AOC Sancerre. The soils consist of "terres blanches"- clay-limestone, and "caillottes"– pebbly limestone.

Their 2022 Rose Sancerre teases the senses with curry leaves and crushed rocks before revealing crushed nectarines. It's soft and round with a balancing core of saline minerals. Crisp white pit fruits give way to lemon oil notes. This finishes dry yet thoroughly fresh, with a chalk sensation nicely offset by a bump of residual acidity. Organic. Vinous Media: 90 Points
