Silvery straw in appearance. A richer, more full-bodied vermouth than your average Italian offering; Carpano vermouths tend to be quite bold and Carpano Dry is no exception. Heavy on the warming baking spices. Holds up to dilution nicely. The fennel and anise notes tend to punch through when mixed. Carpano Dry is characterized by an exceptional wealth of aromas which are balanced and structured, but not aggressive. Has hints of candied fruit, spices, coriander, frankincense and lemon essential oil with some oregano and cedar earthiness on the finish. The dry character of this vermouth makes it perfect for a classic gin (or vodka) martini.
