Double distilled in copper pots, this Sotol was made on the high prairie of Durango.  From the Dasylirion, or desert spoon, which looks something like a yucca or agave, only thinner and finer. The flavor of the distilled spirit is greatly influenced by elevation. Here, the notes of hay, leather and slightly burnt corn are evident.
