Clairin Le Rocher is a unique Haitian rum by master distiller Bethel Romelus using organic sugarcane juice rested for 72 hours, double-distilled in a copper pot still, and aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. The company was founded in 2016 and operates in Le Rocher, Haiti. Clairin is the national spirit of Haiti and is often referred to as the “rhum of the people” due to its deep roots in Haitian culture and heritage. It has an ABV of 46.9%.
The flavors are of light and fluffy cake covered with fresh fruits. A layer of herbs and honey on the tongue. The finish is long, long, long and has honey, rosemary, soy milk, and a bouquet of ripe bananas. Delicious for sipping neat or on the rocks.
