Frida Kahlo Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Size: 0
From its inception, Vina Carmen in the Maipo Valley of Chile has been recognized as a pioneer in winemaking and viticulture, a tradition that continues to this day. In 2017, they launched a new concept label in honor of Frida Kahlo, the famed Mexican painter, and dedicated a single vineyard in her memory with the wine created by Carmen’s Chief Winemaker Emily Faulconer. The inaugural vintage was voted a Top 100 Wine of the Year by Wine Enthusiast, and now three years into the project, this sophisticated and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon keeps getting better. Deep and intense with aromas of black currants, blackberries, and licorice with smooth, elegant cedar notes. The palate is very rich and generous yet fresh and vibrant at the same time. The wine has abundant fruit and firm tannins that lend structure and depth.
